Barbara Dickerson - hand-guided long-arm machine quilting.
We are located near
Runnells, Iowa. Runnells is approximately 15 minutes southeast of Des
Moines.
Barbara specializes in all-over meandering, or stipple design using an
APQS Millennium long-arm quilting machine.
You may use the machine quilting calculator on the right to get an estimate
for quilting your quilt. Iowa residents please check the box if you live in Iowa and
sales tax will be added for you.
Batting is an additional charge or you may supply batting. Although we have
a great selection of thread colors, some prefer to supply their own thread
(sorry, no metallics unless prior arrangements are made).
There is no additional charge for standard thread. Some customers like the
nylon monofilament thread as it doesn't detract from the quilt pattern and
there is no concern about color matching. (the image below was done using
nylon monofilament thread)
If colored thread is used, the same color will be used in the bobbin to
reduce the possibility of seeing a different color come through in some
cases.
